The Republic of Malta is a small country formed by seven islands and locate south of Italy, in the center of the Mediterranean Sea. It enjoys a cool weather most of the year which makes it a perfect escape during the European winter.

How to get to Malta: Valleta has an internacional airport easily reachable from many European cities. You can also reach it by boat, there are several ferries from Sicily in Italy, connecting the island with Licata, Pozzallo and Catania.

What to see and do in Malta: They have beautiful places to enjoy the good weather like the Island of Gozo, Blue Lake, Comino Island, Dingli Cliffs or the Popeye Village, also known as Sweethaven. Walking around the old quarter of Valleta and enjoying the local good is also worth doing.

How to move around Malta: It’s a quite small place and everyone speaks English, so is not difficult to move around the islands. There is a bus service, taxis and you can also rent cars, motorcycles and bikes. We would recommend to try the traditional boats calles dgħajsa.
